Abstract. In 2022, 53 ringers ringed altogether 73 148 birds, what is the highest number of ringed birds till now in Slovakia. Of them only 6 437 were ringed the nestlings. Altogether 153 species were ringed. The five most numerous ringed species were Great Tit (Parus major, 8 960 ind.), Blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla, 7 652 individuals), Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica, 6 809 ind.), European Robin (Erithacus rubecula, 6 032 ind.) and Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus, 5 330 ind.). Altogether 660 abroad recoveries were registered, out of them were 260 individuals ringed abroad and re-trapped in Slovakia, and 400 individuals ringed in Slovakia re-trapped abroad.
